Luppa's Awards Criteria

The Top Workplace 2025 and Best of the Best Awards honor organizations with outstanding workplace cultures, based on Luppa’s Deep Dive surveys and benchmark system. To qualify, companies must meet basic criteria (legal entity, 10+ employees, survey completed by Sept 15, 2025) and achieve results at least 15% above benchmarks (Top Workplace) or 25% above + top 3 in category (Best of the Best). Winners are celebrated at HR.Weekend in Rovinj on Sept 19, 2025, gaining visibility, employer branding strength, and the right to use the award mark across all channels.

What are Top Workplace and Best of the Best Awards?

Top Workplace and Best of the Best are awards granted by Luppa to organizations with exceptionally well-developed and high-quality organizational culture.
The purpose of the awards is to:

  • recognize and reward employers who create a positive and stimulating work environment
  • promote examples of excellence in the field of organizational culture
  • inspire other organizations to improve their working conditions and practices

Award winners serve as role models in the areas of leadership, communication, employee development, and employee well-being.

Eligibility criteria

In order for an organization to participate in the competition for the Top Workplace and Best of the Best awards, the following conditions must be met:

  • Survey implementation – The survey must be conducted via the Luppa Deep Dive module during the period from September 15, 2024 to September 15, 2025 (the survey must be fully completed by the final deadline, regardless of the start date).
  • Legal status – The organization must have a registered legal entity in the country of application.
  • Organization size – The organization must employ at least 10 employees in the country of application.

Evaluation methodology

The evaluation is carried out according to the Luppa benchmark system, which enables an objective comparison of results.

Each organization is compared to:

  • Industry benchmark – average results of organizations in the same industry
  • Market benchmark – average results of organizations in the same country

The final score is based on a combination of the following elements:

  • Average score across 12 organizational dimensions (e.g., Leadership, Communication, Work-life balance…)
  • Engagement score
  • eNPS score (Employee Net Promoter Score)

Awards criteria

Top Workplace 2025

Awarded to organizations that achieve results at least 15% above both the industry and market benchmarks.

Best of the Best 2025

Awarded to organizations that achieve results at least 25% above both the industry and market benchmarks and rank among the top 3 organizations within:

  • each market (Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina)
  • each category according to organization size (Small, Medium-sized, Large company)

Awards ceremony

The official award ceremony will be held as part of HR.Weekend in Rovinj on September 19, 2025.

Winners will be publicly presented, and the awards will be given in front of leading HR professionals and representatives of the business community.

Rights to use the awards

Organizations that win the Top Workplace 2025 and/or Best of the Best 2025 awards have the right to use the award mark in all communication channels, including:

  • Website and social media
  • Employer branding materials
  • Recruitment and hiring processes

Luppa actively encourages the public promotion of the awards to raise awareness of the importance of a quality work environment.

Organizations that wish to highlight their recognition even further may order additional award statues. This option is available upon request and is subject to an additional fee. For more details and arrangements, please contact Luppa team directly.
