Following the great success of last year’s award and live celebration in Rovinj, this year we’re excited to take things to the next level by also introducing a brand-new award – the Best of the Best, which is reserved for the highest-achieving organizations across markets and company sizes.
The Top Workplace and Best of the Best Awards signify a shared dedication among our diverse clientele to prioritize their employees' well-being and happiness. It serves as a testament to the commitment these organizations have made to create workplaces where employees truly thrive.
What is the Luppa Top Workplace Award?
The Top Workplace is a recognition Luppa awards to organizations with exceptionally high-quality workplace cultures. The aim is to promote the best employers, inspire others, encourage workplace development, and highlight organizations that serve as a positive example in the region.
The award is based on the results of the Luppa’s Deep Dive employee engagement and satisfaction surveys and is presented annually.
What’s new this year?
This year we are excited to take the recognition to a new level by introducing an additional award: Best of the Best.
The Best of the Best Award is presented to organizations that:
- Achieve results at least 25% above both the industry and market benchmarks
- Rank among the top 3 organizations within:
- Each market (Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina)
- Each category according to organization size (Small, Medium-sized, Large company)

Criteria for receiving the Awards
Winning these awards is no small feat. It is a challenge, reflecting the high standards we set to recognize organizations that excel in creating exceptional workplace environments.
Top Workplace
To qualify for the Top Workplace Award, we assess how organizations perform relative to both industry and market benchmarks. Companies must demonstrate results that are at least 15% higher than the industry and market benchmarks in key metrics related to employee engagement, eNPS and Luppa’s 12 dimensions.
Best of the Best
This award recognizes organizations that stand out as true leaders in creating outstanding workplaces. To qualify, they must achieve results at least 25% above both industry and market benchmarks on the same key metrics: employee engagement, eNPS and 12 measured dimensions. Additionally, these organizations must rank among the top 3 in their market and company size category.
Our standards are intentionally tough, which means certain categories might see just two, one, or even no winners at all.

Through its comprehensive annual surveys, Luppa helps identify quiet quitting tendencies before they This year, the award ceremony at HR.Weekend in Rovinj will bring together top professionals from the world of HR and psychology. The recognition will be presented in front of the entire HR community.
First, the Top Workplace Awards will be presented, categorized by industry. After that, the Best of the Best winners will be announced and celebrated – by market (Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina), by company size (Small, Medium, Large) and by placement (1st, 2nd, 3rd)..
Awarded organizations will have the right to publicly use the "Top Workplace 2025" and "Best of the Best 2025" mark in all communications throughout the year 2025.
